Galentine’s Day

So I know for some of us gals the dreaded Valentines Day is right around the corner (TOMORROW). Being someone who has never had a valentine, I have found different ways to celebrate without needing a significant other! And thank you to Parks and Rec for making February 13th Galentine’s Day, a day to simply celebrate your lady friends! Perfect for everyone! Here are a couple activities that would be great for you and your gal pals πŸ™‚

  1. Have a Movie Night!

What’s better than having some of your closest friends over to watch a couple movies? NOTHING! Great time to bring out the pizza and wine. It’s also a cheaper alternative to going to the movie theater, but if you do want to see a movie I would recommend ‘How to be Single’ starring Rebel Wilson and Dakota Johnson. If Rebel Wilson is in it you know it’s gunna be a hysterical movie!

2. Pamper Yourself

Getting my nails done always makes me feel great and ready to take on the world. If you’re like me and only get this done for special occasions, this is one! Maybe even make a small trip to Lush, or any other bath place and make a nice bubble bath for yourself. This is great if you just want to have some time to yourself to relax.

3. Brunch

Brunch is always a great idea! Go out with some friends, grab some of your favorite breakfast food ,and chat about your week. After all breakfast IS the most important meal of the day!

Most of all Galentines is meant to be a FUN DAY! In the end do whatever makes you and your friends happy! Hope everyone has both a great Galentines and Valentines Day!

  1. I love this post! I think Galentine’s Day is such a great idea, and not just for people who are single. Appreciating your girlfriends is so important!
