Georgetown

I decided to write a separate post about my experience in Georgetown apart from Spring Break. I love going into Georgetown for the yummy food and because it’s so picturesque! It used to be known for having cute trendy boutiques, but now it’s mostly commercial retailers like H&M, Urban Outfitters, Banana Republic, Nike, etc. My favorite restaurant there used to be Serendipity, sadly they closed their D.C. location a couple years ago. They do still have one in New York City! I’ve never been but I’m sure it’s still amazing. Here’s a lil picture of their Frozen Hot Chocolate (would highly recommend)!

My sister and I LOVE to get cupcakes from Baked and Wired. They only have one shop, so if/when you’re in the D.C. area you HAVE to go! Quite frankly Georgetown Cupcakes are overrated, and Baked and Wired is the place to go. They have really cute names for each cupcake. My sister usually gets the Uniporn Rain-Hoes one, which is a funfetti cupcake with cream cheese icing. I try and get a different flavor every time I go. My favorite is the Strawberry one, it’s very fresh with a hint of sweet.

We walked down to the Potomac River which looked beautiful that day! Lots of people were enjoying some of the restaurants on the water. This area is extremely cute for a day or night date!

Lastly, I just want to share what I wore for my day in Georgetown. I just got a new matte Kat Von D liquid lipstick in the color Double Dare, and I wanted wear it out and about! It lasted all day and looked great!
